Maritime Education Scolarship

Bridges Over Water (BOW) is a program designed to make maritime career paths more accessible, particularly to those with foster care history. The BOW Program provides education & training, career counseling, mentorship from industry-leaders, and job placement supports. Participants can not only expect to develop strong seafaring skills but also learn exceptional leadership along the way.
Applicants must be between 18 – 30 years old, have spent time in the foster care system, be medically fit for sea service, and have a clean criminal record. You can find the application and learn more on the Bridges Over Water website.
